Change of heart or change of mind Thu Jun 03, 2004 21:31 pm  Change of heart or change of mind

hi!!!!

i'm writting once again cause you haven't answered to my first e-mail Crying or Very sad to enquire about this test:

Test No. errors/elem-8 "A Change of Heart", question 10

Well, that was a quick change of hart - oh, I see you haven't got any matches!

(a) was
(b) hart
(c) any

Test No. errors/elem-8 "A Change of Heart", answer 10

Well, that was a quick change of heart - oh, I see you haven't got any matches!

Correct entry: heart
The error was: (b) hart

Is there any difference between "change of heart" and "change of mind" (if there is any) In what situation it's better to say "change of heart" then "change of mind". Can you explain it, i suppose there is a difference because correct form in one of your test sentence is" the government has change its policy and had a complete change of heart (not change of mind). Thank You for answer in advance Iza!!!! Laughing

Change of heart and change your mind Thu Jun 03, 2004 23:14 pm  Change of heart and change your mind

Hi Iza,

A change of heart usually is a change from negative to positive. When you change your mind you choose a different plan, you change your desicion.
