I've just read and listened to the story "It never gets you anywhere" by Alan Townend. I think it is a good story to help students to learn Present Simple Tense. Reading and listening stories is a good way to learn English. It is completely new way to learn which is different from others old-fashioned methods.

First, reading stories is much more fun than learn English with long text with difficult explanations and boring sample sentences. You can enjoy the stories with many interesting details. For example, when I was reading "It never gets you anywhere" I liked that the author described two characters Andrew and Sally. "Andrew Smodley is a natural worrier. It is something he has inherited from his father — the king of all worriers." "Now Sally is an entirely different kettle of fish. Her philosophy runs as follows: "Worrying never gets you anywhere and life is too short to waste time imagining the worst." You can only learn if you enjoy what you are reading.

Second, learning English through stories makes you feel comfortable because you might not think you learn but you read stories. Is it a good thing? Yes, it is. For many people, the word "learn" is wonderful, but I know that for some people it is not. To these people, till the time they can learn English by themselves first you have to make them to be interested in, to pay attention to. So learning English through stories is a good way to start.

Finally, it is easy to students to remember new words and grammar structure. By reading and listening stories, you learn new words easily and naturally. You don't have to try hard to remember. If you like the story you will remember it. If you remember it you remember new words and grammar structure.

I hope to receive responses to my writing from all of you. Please correct my mistake if you find any in my writing. Thank you.

Have a good day!
Hoa
