ESSAY TOPIC: War can never be justified. How far do you agree with this statement.
Wars have brought about many damages physically and mentally to human being. In my opinion, there will be no justification for what wars have done for the people nowadays. There are three badly consequences of these senseless wars.
The most expensive cost of wars is the loss of human lives. According to the Britannica Concise Encyclopedia, the September 11 attacks on which series of airline hijackings and suicide bombings struck towers causing 2750 people killed and 19 terrorist’s death. This is one of the most destructive events happened in the history of America. Another statistic comes from the Iraq War; the worst of the worst of the unbearable destruction is to children. Accordingly, there are 1.26 million children would died in this war. This conflict, however, also causes many psychological problems to children (depression, anxiety, post-traumatic depress and so on). Those things are really unacceptable but continue occurring despite the voice of world citizens.
Besides, the unmeaning destruction is another horrible effect of wars. Compared to the earthquake 7.0 magnitude in Japan causing the distortion of highway and thousands of houses erupted, wars create even worse than what people have been able to imagine. Take a look to Viet Nam history’s war in 1960s, the America’s B52 crashed wholly Hanoi capital leaving the destructive consequences to its residents. And, evidences have shown that Viet Nam had to take a very long time in order to recover the country wealth.
Last, but not least, is the waste of resources. The money spent to children’s charity in term of educational and living conditional state is so far less than how much people have poured in wars. Their ideal is so meaningless if there are millions of people are in state of hungry, homeless and vulnerable to diseases, especially to Africa countries. More over, The America would not be from a biggest owner to a biggest debtor without paying too much on wars throughout the world.
Through these aforementioned consequences, war has no right to give itself the qualifications.
