The transport of merchandises by road is a booming economic activity which increasingly based on international exchanges. Its recent evolutions moved transport to become always faster, more reactive to urgent customer demands and at the same time less expensive. Those news defies push transporters in a permanent time trial and the competition between them becomes stronger.

In order to progress on the European level and to reach new clients, LKW Walter has to distinguish itself apart from its competitors. The large offer of services that the firm proposes next to transport (loading capacities everywhere in Europe, Quality of client relations, fulfilment of each vehicle through direct contact and technological tools, etc.) already permit the company to differentiate herself from her main competitors and to achieve a leader position in Europe.

Some challenges are still to go through by LKW Walter to conserve her position and to progress more. A more targeted strategy of commercial canvassing would optimise the realised transports and permits the firm to offer more reactive services and more competitive tariffs. This would propel the firm in a better competitive position in Europe and facilitate its progression.
