chair or bench? #1 (permalink) Fri Nov 27, 2009 15:54 pm   chair or bench?

hi, everybody.
I have a problem with vocabulary. In Vietnam school, I can see long desks and long *** for students to seat. 3 or 4 students can seat on ***. It's like a bench without back and armrest. It has 4 short legs. Is it a chair or a bench or other words? Please give me your help. Thanks
By the way, please correct my message.

Hi Lebrian,

The difference between a chair and a bench is that a chair is usually for one person to sit on and has a back but a bench is for more than one to sit on and has no back to it.
