Preferring A certain room at home depends on A person’s POSITION in THE family. According to my observations, fathers like THE living-room SO THAT THEY MAY watch television UNDISTURBED, while mothers prefer to spend time in the kitchen. Unlike parents, in general young members of the family prefer their own roomS, because we can read there whenever we want, OR work ON OUR computerS and relax.
First of all, my own room is a study place for me. In fact, I am preparing for the TOEFL test and I need to read aloud and to practice THE speaking section of the Toefl test. No doubt, these activities make noise in the room. If I WERE TO practice my tasks in any other rooms, I WOULD disturb others, so my room is the most appropriate place to read and practice English or any other subjects, whenever I wish, regardless of THE TIME OF DAY.
Another point to be mentionED is that, working ON THE computer until midnight, which is a very necessary requirement for my classes, is only possible in my own room. Sometimes I stay up late at night searching articles and information through THE internet, because computers provide access to FAR more information than books. So, it KEEPS me awake until midnight. In contrast I am not able to implement these commitments in any OF THE other rooms at home.
The last and the most important or unique quality of my room, is that I can relax there. It is a place for me to cool down when I am angry. I can relax here after the stress of continual studying.
Personally, I would say that my own room is the most important ROOM for me in our house. I can read there without bothering others, can supplement internet materials to my study or research and relax there. I believe that “the road to success" lies in studying only in my own room RATHER than IN other parts of our house.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good afternoon Aynur, again this is a good essay and I would award you 4/5 for this work. Both your spelling and sentence structure are perfect, and the only way to a perfect score is to use far more sophisticated vocabulary. This takes a very long time to learn, and to be perfectly understood in its correct usage. Personally I think you are doing very well indeed, but if you wish to add this further burden to your workload, then that is your decision. I would think that your parents are very proud of your performance, and it would be folly to expect you to achieve perfection in such a short space of time.
