Which is right - With Cash or In Cash #1 (permalink) Tue Dec 01, 2009 12:47 pm   Which is right - With Cash or In Cash

Hi,

I want to know which one is right with cash or in cash as per grammar rules

1. Would you like to pay with cash
2. Would you like to pay in cash

As far as I know as per British English in cash is 100% right but so far I could come to learn why friend of mine spoke that Would you like to pay with cash

might it's prevalent in US because he is from US

Hi,

I would say either 'cash' on its own or 'in cash' but not 'with cash'.
