In general, people are living longer now. Discuss the causes of this phenomenon. Use specific reasons and details to develop your essay.
As a matter of fact that there are more and more people living longer. It comes from many causes; however, two main reasons are due to the development of health care system, the sufficient and better food supply and other facilities.
To begin with, as mention above I strongly think that it is the development of medicine playing the important role in increasing the life expectancy. Nowadays, medicine can cope with a lot of dangerous diseases, which is seemed to be impossible to cure in the past. Moreover, there are increasing people living well with artificial parts of body such as arms, legs or even hearts. Thus, the development of medicine really helps to raise the life expectancy.
Next, as I can remember that, with the spread of dangerous diseases, the poor or in other words, lacking of food supply is the primary reason causing a great number of people die. Even in the modern society, the large number of people in Africa are facing with the lack of food seriously, and many in them children getting died before age of going to school. However, the world today are getting better and with the improvement of technology more and more food are produced and delivered with a cheaper price over the world. Furthermore, it will be a mistake when not mention about the development of other facilities such as shelter, not cold and wet ground as before, and healthy products. In brief, a better food supply is getting to contribute to a better society in general and longer life expectancy in specific.
In conclusion, there are still other reasons leading to decrease the life expectancy, wars, natural disasters for example, yet whenever we can solve these problems regarding poor and diseases, we already solve over half of cause making our life expectancy reduce.
PS: please check this for me, I'm really appreciate your comments. Thanks at all
