Topic: Nowadays, communicating with others is faster and easier thanks to technology like email, cellular phones and beepers. Has this change improved the way people live? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I'm going to make an outline like that
A Introduction:
Technology (E-mails, phones, cell phones, beepers...) has improved the way people live.
B Body
_Time (quick) (Please help me to find some examples/ some comparision and contrast with the way people communicated many years ago)
_Convenience (effective)
_ Money (cheap)

I'd rather state that : New technologies like television and the Internet help us get information quicker and easier (lastest news..). What do you think about this statement?

I can tell you some points and you can have an idea of more points.
A Introduction:Technology has improven the way people live.We don't need to travel or send letters and wait for months for our reply.Through technology we can send message anywhere and whenever we want.
B Body.Many years ago people use to communicate by sending letters or by traveling,which can be delivered maybe after few days,but technology can deliver out messages within seconds.Its an effective way to communicate fast and get answers at the same time.Its cheap.Sending letters is an expensive way to communicate.

I think your last statement is absolutely right.

I want to add more:Technology has change our way of living.We dont need to buy music,games or books and spend thousands of dollars but we can get them from the internet which is the priceless way of buying things..

Your outlines was good. As you know you have to write;
paragraph 1= introduction
paragraph 2-3- and maybe 4 = supporting paragraph
paragraph 5 = conclusions
