Hi Teachers

"There were twenty monkeys huddled along the branches as still as statues"

Can I use huddling in stead of huddled?
What is the difference of them?

Thank you very much

Mark

Huddled is the past participle of huddle, whilst huddling is the present participle.
Depends on what image you are attempting to convey.
