Dear teacher!

I failed to find this defenition in the dictionary so that is the reason for me sending this message. I need a word to describe a thing that small children wear when they go swimming. The thing is a circle in shpe and prevents them from drowning.

Thank very much
Olga

If you use it to rescue a man that fell overboard, you would call it a life buoy; if it is a cheap thing for children, a rubber ring, or what Peter said.
