Everything depends on which college you are applying to. Remember, there's no national standard for college acceptance, so your question really doesn't make sense in an American context.

The art school I went to (a very difficult one) requires foreign students to score at least 600 on the TOEFL or to have passed two semesters of normal English composition (for native speakers) at another college. I don't know if they want an SAT score or not. I have never taken the SAT in my life, and the college never asked me for it.

But every college is different, and if you have a question about admissions requirements, you have to contact the individual college you want to go to.

Don't forget also that good art schools require a portfolio of your artwork from high school, and that can determine whether you get in or not.

You can study whatever you want if you did well on the SAT and on your TOEFL test...
Browse the list of American colleges that offer studies in that field... I am not familiar with graphic design schools, but I'm sure they have great opportunities...
The most important thing is to get a good SAT score if you are an international student, which, I see, you are...
And, one more thing, most schools that offer studies in fields of art and design request some additional material (drawings etc..) but don't take my word too serious since I know little about graphic design (I hope to study medicine Smile)

Good luck,
Mica
