It's totally correct. In most cases, 'any' is used with plural or uncountable nouns. When it's followed by singular nouns, it means 'practically every'. For example: Any dictionary will give you the meaning of these words. |

Hi Viveksingh98,
It is possible to use 'any' with both countable and uncountable nouns. We can say: If you have any question about the test, ask me to explain/If you have any questions about the text, ask me to explain/If you want any help with the yest, please ask me to explain.

Hmm... I was just wondering, if the usage of "any questions" is correct then why do we often incorporate any with a singular pronoun. For instance, answer any one of the following questions. Here any one represents "choose one from many". Another instance, "Is there any body out there ?" means is there any one inside or whatever. I do accept i've seen the plural nouns/pronouns attached with any but from my point of view its inappropriate. Any means one from many. I don't know if my view point is correct or not but i would really appreciate if you can correct me by convincing me with apt examples.
