Thanks B.Z.
I'll try tomorrow.Because I understand what you explained but it is time-consuming and now it is very late and I am not a computer expert.
I have a question: Does anybody comment my accent ?
Thanks very much your correction. This was also new for me.I memorize: After please we have to use bare infinitive.
I hope I didn't make another mistake. Have a good night: Kati _________________ We always deceive ourselves twice about the people we love - first to their advantage, then to their disadvantage. |

Hello,
Yesterday I made a grammar mistake what BZ. corrected. That's why I filled in a test, a comparison when we have to use: infinitive, bare infinitive and gerund. Here is my voice message.:

Hi guys. I will read an English text which I had in my last English Consecutive Exam. Here it is. Masked gunmen on Sunday torched Gaza beach club shuttered by Hamas. One of the owners of "Crazy Waters" Club said about 40 gunmen had manacled and blindfolded a night watchman before the arson of an administrative edifice and restaurant overnight. The flames engulfed different parts of the club. The Hamas interior ministry denied any link between the attack and the closure and said investigations are in full swing to uncover the perpetrators of this crime to hold them accountable and indicted of the incident. In recent years, Hamas has stepped up enforcement of a ban on women smoking water pipes in public, saying it is against mores and has sought to prevent the mixing of the sexes in the already conservative territory.
They; professors at the university, say that we; I and my friends, study British English but, until now, I am not convinced that they teach us the intended British accent.
Ahmmm, I don't know why, really. All what I know is that I am going to improve my English accent whether it is American or British in any way possible; I prefer British though. :( Please comment on my post and voice message. Thank you in advance. |

Hello. I'm gonna read an article from wikipedia. Can you comment on my accent. How does it sounds like? Would you understand something without looking on the text?
English is a West Germanic language that arose in the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms of England and spread into what was to become south-east Scotland under the influence of the Anglian medieval kingdom of Northumbria. Following the economic, political, military, scientific, cultural, and colonial influence of Great Britain and the United Kingdom from the 18th century, via the British Empire, and of the United States since the mid-20th century, it has been widely dispersed around the world, become the leading language of international discourse, and has acquired use as lingua franca in many regions. It is widely learned as a second language and used as an official language of the European Union and many Commonwealth countries, as well as in many world organizations. It is the third most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. |
