If sunday is finish of the week, so there isn't "th". Why is there "th"?

Hi Hopper, Sunday doesn't come before Friday but Thursday does. Sunday comes after Saturday and Friday comes before Saturday, at least in my neck of the woods ;-).

The answer is certainly Thursday, but thursday is usually considered a hard th sound not a soft one (like the or these).
