Dear Henry, many thanks for your report. Please note the correct spelling of the word 'grammar'. Also, what are the chances of my hearing your voice here on the forum? And can you please tell where you learned all those new words you mentioned? Did they occur and an article your read or did Brian tell you story using this vocabulary?
Best regards, Torsten

Hi Torsten, I've read your note and comment and so I'm a litte bit confused about the strange last sentence. In my meaning the correct way would be:"Did they occur or did you find they in an article you read (or you've read) or ....." ? Please correct me if I'm on a wrong way! Or is this the goal we have to achieve on your way when shall become "winners"....;-) By the way - I think you're right, when you wrote about the different ways for learning. For example - today I've brought a song book into our lesson where you can find all the songs composed by the Beatles. I hope you are understanding my comment and I ask you to excuse my mistakes in this note, but I've written these sentences without using a dictionary. BR Wolfgang |

Good morning Wolfgang, you are absolutely right -- I actually made two typos in that sentence. It should read "Did they occur in an article you read...." Well, I could say I made those mistakes intentionally to check whether you read my messages or not ;-). Yes, it's great to hear you've brought your song book and you will be singing English songs. However, I'm still waiting to hear your voice messages here on the forum....
OK, now I have to go to a company called Eurolam where the employees are learning English to improve their company's competitiveness.

Hello. First of all, I would like to thank you all for this great website, And also for the all efforts that you do. I really like English either for the scoring high in the TOEFL, and also for the joy of learning a new language. You know, it's been a while that I'm listening to TOIEC listening audio files, taking the test, and so forth. Of course I solve almost all of them correctly. Because I want to take the TOEFL, I would like to ask the differences between these two exams. Is it worth to take the TOIEC too?
Thanks in advance. -Salivan |

Hi Salivan, whether you should take the TOEIC in addition to the TOEFL really depends on your goals. What exactly do you want to achieve? Are you applying for a new job? If so, taking the TOEIC test will help you improve your career chances.
