Good morning Wolfgang,

Thank you very much for your first report which looks very good. Please note the difference between 'tires' and 'tired'. Both words look very similar but can have completely different meanings. Also, you may want to add some keywords describing your professional background as well as the jobs of the rest of the group.

Today it will be Alexandra's turn to take the minutes, collect the vocabulary and compose the report so I'd like to ask you to assist her with these jobs.

Many thanks,
Torsten

Dear Torsten,

Yes, I've had a thorough look over the notes from the previous teaching sessions.

One thing I'm wondering, which I've not been able to determine from the notes, but is there a set curriculum and are all teaching materials provided?

Warm Regards,

Oliver Johnston

Dear Torsten,

I've read through all of the posts for the class, including the posts by the students regarding topics covered, new vocabulary, etc... I was unable to determine if there was a particular course book that they're using (the previous classes seemed to have a course book). If there is a book, could you please let me know which one so I can get a copy of it. I've got materials to use if needed. Also, is there a copy machine available, or should I copy any additional materials I might need before I go? From the names I've jotted down, there are ten people in the class. Is this correct?

Sorry for all the questions.

Kind regards,

Sheila Grace

Dear Torsten,

I am interested in this course, and would be available starting Monday. I have read through all the material I could find on this forum about the course, but still have a few questions.

When you say the pay is 130EU/day including travel and accommodations, does that mean that we pay for travel and accommodations out of this salary, or that they will be covered by your company? I just want to be clear.

I also could not find any information about accommodations.

Lastly, is there a course book? And are we expected to bring any prepared materials?

Thanks, and I look forward to working with you all.

Dear trainers,
in my understanding the most important thing in this Nordhausen group is to handle the big heterogenity of the course participants.
We should be very flexible to motivate all learners to find the best way of a target oriented learning, a new approach in helping each others, to document the course development, to apply the very different learning / teaching methods very creatively ( ex cathedra teaching, group work, project learning in order to have more time to work individually with the beginners, station learning, partnering, dialogues, individual coaching etc.pp. ).
A great opportunity in Nordhausen is to use the Internet and our web based English-test.net system.
I am absolutely sure that we all shall manage to generate an excellent learning atmosphere as the basic precondition for a succesful course.
Many thanks for your great contribution.
Best regards
Uli.
