i had given my gre and got a terrible score. well what to do hou could i proceed. hoe should i apply to university

My score are 1010 380 in verbal & 630 in quant
I already filled four unversity at the end of exam can any one tell me how to procced further

i think u shud take the test again but not so soon. It wud be advisable that u work a lil more on your verbal scores. just make sure u've mastered the vocab...and confirm that by taking frequent speed vocab tests....they really help to pull up the scores!!

and one more thing... i'd also suggest u to give adequate time for your prep and dont hasten up for the second test.

The preparation is otherwise not so tough if follow a systematic procedure with an appropriate pace.

thanks for advice but i heard that unversity take avg of the score But i also heard that only some good unversity do that can u tell me which is true. does all the unv take avg score?

i am not so aware of the admission processes as i havent yet begun my work. but i know for sure that diff univ pay attention to diff section scores. like if u want a compsc admission, they'll look at your quant scores but whatever it it, there's a min score that every good univ expects. like u cant get admission with a 400 verbal score and 800 quants and viceversa.
