Hello, for a major language school in Cologne we are looking for businenss English trainers, (CEF level from B2 to C1/C2).

You should be a native speaker who can teach English to business executives. Preferably you hold a university degree and have a CELTA certificate.

You main responsibility will be to teach high level managers of major German corporations at their premises. (topics: meetings, negotiations, commercial correspondence, telephoning, handling customer complaints, staff training, presentations, performance reviews, appraisals, conflict management, etc.)

SECONDARY TASK: Instructing evening classes at the Cologne language school in business English. (CEF Levels from B1 - C1)

THIRD TASK: Possible translation work from German into English.

A company car is available for use along with a basic apartment in a Cologne district - either North or South of the city centre. Riehl/Niehl in the North or Sülz/Klettenberg in the South. Approx. 5 Tram/U-Stations from either direction to the Inlingua School situated at the Heumarkt, Cologne. Heumarkt is just a 10 minute walk from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) next to the Cologne Cathedral (Dom).

START DATE: Beginning of January 2010 or 17th January 2010 at the latest. An earlier start will help with the job handover of course and help to release the
present trainer a.s.a.p.

REASON: Two English trainers will be leaving immediately and a third will be leaving in
June 2010. One may be returning again in July/August 2010.

For more information, please contact Bruce Finlayson at +49 172.1353244 or call me at +49 341.6995511.

Alternatively, you can email me your CV/resume at "td at english-team.com". (Please replace the word 'at' with the @ sign.)

Many thanks,
