Most of us know the song, I guess.
I think the sentence should be "Just because you close your eyes it doesn't mean the world disappears"
Or 'it' is not needed here?

Actually, I am one those guys who didn't heard the song before, personally I think you are right about it but as far as you mentioned the sentence is from a song, I think that there must be some special terms here.

A comma after "eyes" in the first sentence makes it absolutely valid.

Your second form doesn't require the use of the comma.
