Good teachers set the challenging tasks for their students. #1 (permalink) Thu Jan 07, 2010 17:27 pm   Good teachers set the challenging tasks for their students.

Topic:- Good teachers set the challenging tasks for their students. Do you agree or disagree with the statement.

The good teachers are those, who have mastary on their subjects as well as have good expressing power that means, they can express the knowledge
that they have in such a way that student can grasp it easily. But this not sufficient for a good teacher. For a good teacher, it is also necessory to know
that students got the concepts clear in their mind or not? So to judge this, teachers are giving the tasks or tests to solve. I ageree with the statement,
good teachers set challenging tasks for their students. There are several reasons for that.

Firstly, the challenging tasks help the teacher to judge a student from his or her performance and can give suggestions accordingly. For example, if
a teacher is good in teaching maths. By giving the challenging problems on the related topics, will help the teacher to know how many students grasped the
concept clearly. So he come to know about the weak areas of the students and accordingly help them to perfect the weak areas.

Secondly, people require remindering for remembering the things. For example, if teacher kept on teaching without giving tasks, then students will
remember the concepts but not for long time. Tests or tasks force the student to revise the concept and it will make the student master of that concept.

Thirdly, Challenging tasks develope the ability to accept the challenges as well as it will help the student to express the inovativeness.

So finally to sum up, good teachers are working for the sake of students development. Facing the challenging tasks help the student to improve the
confidance. So setting challenging tasks are necessory for students development.

Topic:- Good teachers set the challenging tasks for their students. Do you agree or disagree with the statement.

Good teachers are those, who have mastEry on their subjects as well as havING good expressing SKILLS. That means, they can express the knowledge that they POSSESS in such a way that studentS can grasp it easily.
But this IS not sufficient for a good teacher. For a good teacher, it is also NECESSARY THAT HE knowS WHETHER THE students HAVE UNDERSTOOD THEconcepts or not.
So to judge this, teachers GIVE THE STUDENTS tasks or tests to solve. I AGREE with the statement, good teachers set challenging tasks for their students.

There are several reasons for MY REASONING.

Firstly, the challenging tasks help the teacher to judge a student from his or her performance and ENABLE HIM TOgive suggestions accordingly.
For example, if a teacher is good in teaching maths, THEN BY giving the STUDENTS challenging problems on the related topics, will help the teacher to know how many students grasped the concept clearly, so he comeS to know about the weak areas of the students and accordingly helpS them to perfect the weak areas.

Secondly, people require remindering for remembering the things.??????

For example, if A teacher kept on teaching without giving tasks, then students will
remember the concepts but not for A long time. Tests or tasks force the student to revise the concept and it will make the student THE master of that concept.

Thirdly, challenging tasks develop the ability to accept the challenges. ALSO it will help the student to express theIR INNOVATIVENESS.

So finally to sum up, good teachers are working for the sake of THEIR students development, AND facing the challenging tasks TO help the student to improve theIR
confidEnce. So setting challenging tasks are necessAry for students development.
