Hello,

They say that one of the secrets of longevity is learning how to relax. It doesn't do your heart any good if you keep losing your temper.

Let me tell you more

Hello!
I have a question regarding "take it easy":I quote "....what do we say to those who are prone to fiery outbursts...."
Dear Alan do you mean those who are likely to lose their temper quickly or those who are likely to be exposed to such behaviour?
sorry!!! I seem to have problem with 'Be prone to'!

Hi Lilish,

In that context 'prone to' suggests 'likely to' do something or experience something when referring to what someone is possibly going to do/experience. It's often used in this sense: Charlie is a very delicate child and is prone to the slightest infection.

Hope that helps.

Alan

Hi Dear Alan,
The past is a history; the future is a mystery, but the present is here. Therefore, it is called a gift.
For this reason, it is wise to control our temper and enjoy every minute of our life. However, talking is always much easier than practicing, isn't it?
Thank you so much for reminding us of this forgotten issue,

Hi Dear Morteza,

I fully agree with you. It is very important not to waste our time at this moment thinking about past or future, just to enjoy life today.

When you loose your temper you frighten people around you. Besides, it influence on your health and mood badly. Of course, "being as cool as cucumber" is the right tactics..But sometimes it is so difficult, so difficult.....

Hi Alan,

Sometimes it is too hard to keep quiet while experiencing something terrible happening around you and to "take it easy". But in the most of cases wins someone who is "as cool as a cucumber". Sometimes only in the times of emergency you have an opportunity to evaluate a real man. I've seen such people.

Regards,

Yuri
