Please amend: Error occurred while trying to send SMS

Hi, can you please amend this phrase:

An error occurred while the system was trying to send an SMS.

The orginal German phrase is much shorter though:

Fehler beim SMS-Versand

What about 'SMS dispatch error'?

Or maybe "SMS could not be sent due to error"?

"Unable to send message. Please try again."

The user could probably care less why, and the fact that there was an error is pretty obvious by the fact that it did not send ;)

How about “Server Error” or “SMS Server Error” ?
It’s quite a common and general term in internet world which indicates that the error occurred on the side of the Computer Server System.
