Dear Alan
I read the story centres on the couple of young people has a good relationship with each other ,nevertheless they have to saperate at the end,It's thinking to me that is not fair to the man,so he gives the wedding ring to her for engagement. On the other hand ,especially I focus on this regarding to the present simple tense ,at the same time there's a Mr.Alan's perfect definition of this that make me how to use the simple present clearly .As you know,I used to learn this tense before, but I confused it a lot.
Thanks
Savath

When you ingest something, you just put something into your body (usually through your mouth). Then your body starts breaking down the food into its chemical elements. This process is called 'digestion'. So you first ingest something and then your body digests it.

With letthere are lot of collocations: only some ones:

let sb know=inform sb about sth
For exp: I don't know whether I can come to the meeting but I'll let you know tomorrow.

offering help:
Let me do it.

used to express a strong wish for sth to happen:
Let her come home safely.

used to introduce what you are going to say:

to allow sb to be free
Will they the hostages go?

to give up an attitude
It's time to let the past go.

to behave in a relaxed way, without worrying
Come on, enjoy yourself, let yourself go!
Let me give you an example.

There are more. For today it is enough, isn't it?

Dear Teacher,

Here are my sentences related to the simple tense. Do you think these sentences are right?

Today, I take an English course at the University of Sciences and Social Humanities, my teacher is Steve. Maybe he is from New York or maybe not. The way he teaches us is interesting.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Candy,

I would suggest: I am taking... Start a new sentence: My teacher is Steve.
