Dear Yemel, Just in case, to ask a question in the simple present tense, you either use verb to be or verb do as helping verbs in the questions. That's why your question should be "Why does he converse with him?". Now to form a question in the simple present tense you have to start your question with verb to be +subject+adj./n.. e.g (Is he handsome?) As such, a question in the simple present tense can't be correct unless it has a helping verb which is either "do" or "verb to be". Verb to be is used for questions that do not require an action verb in the answer, whereas verb "do" is used as a helping verb in questions that require answers with an action verb. |
