Hi I'm Omar, going to Canada soon. I need to brush up my english

I'm going to Canada very soon, and i need to brush up my english...
any suggestion?
i know how to speak, write, read and understand english, but i know there are still some flaws that i need to polish and im not so confident about conversing in english.
how can i asess my english skill?
how can i confidently converse in english when im there in canada?

I'm sure you will speak nice English, because you are in English environment,maybe you can learn some French when you are in Canada~ :) I have a friend,he move to USA one year ago, you know his english is not good when he was in China, but now he speak good english, of course betterrrrrrrrrrr than me~ haha~ so, take it easy, you can do it!

by the way, when you will go to Canada ? for study ? or work ?

yeah, i am trying to learn French as well at the same time, that's why i
feel a bit anxious right now... ofcourse, i don't have to learn french right away but i want to. ;-)
for me to adapt to the culture easily once im there in canada.

i'll be in canada in about 6 to 10 months from now, to work, to live in the greener pasture in the west.. lol

where are you at right now, are you in canada also?

No....I am in China now, and lived in Xiamen city, Fujian Province~ it's near Philippines~ :) aha~ can you see me in your country ? :)
I never been to Canada, even other country~ lol~ I work in Xiamen~ welcome to my place once you have time to visit~ :) I know one friend who from Philippnes,and he lived in Xiamen for 6years~ aha~ and you know my college english teacher from Philippines also~ he's a very funny teacher~ :)
