Hello,

I have a question on the usage of 'in' and 'on'.

The dress is perfect on you.

The sentence could be said the other way:

You look perfect ____ that dress.

In this case, isn't 'in' right for the blank? What do you think? How about "on"?

Thanks,
sweetpumpkin

The dress is perfect on you.

The sentence could be said the other way:

You look perfect _IN___ that dress.

If you were ON the dress you would be sitting or lying ON it. When you wear it you look perfect IN it. Clear?
