Correct answer: (d) deposit

Though I did it correct. but I'm not sure why is DEPOSIT, not the others. Would you please explain those four choices ,thanks!

Hi Ivy,

Deposit is essentially a financial term although it can be used with other meanings. Heap and pile are very similar and describe things one on top of the other as in a pile of books and a heap of clothes - perhaps heap is more untidy. A lump is a swelling on the skin.
