1) This is read as "Snow is a form of precipitation" (other forms of precipitation are rain, sleet, hail, etc.) So, of the choices, 'B' is correct, because a Hurricane is a form of a Cyclone (others are probably typoon, twister, etc.)

2) A filibuster is a way to block legislation. In the USA, a lawmaker will block legislation by starting a filibuster, where he just starts talking about the topic on the senate floor, and by law he is allowed to continue talking until he wants to end... and that can last indefinitely. So, in this case, a blockade is a way to stop/block commerce, because when a blockage (or sanctions, or roadblock) is erected, it stops commerce from happening.

3) A magazine is a type of periodical (others are newspapers, comic books, etc.). Again, then, a 'mystery' is a type of fiction book... others would be 'romance, thriller, etc.'.
