What means the verb "to power-dress",

Hello western, I hope it'll be OK for you if I tell you that the correct way of asking your question would be What does this verb mean?
As for the verb power dress, I think it means that the lady uses her clothes to demonstrate that she means business and is determined to call the shots in the German government.

What kind of antediluvian, macho comment is that? And what does that make of women who have no children? Besides, the mere concept of needing a role model to look up to is very much arguable, in my opinion. And, frankly, would you look up to a politician, of all people, if you needed to imitate someone (chuckles, chuckles)?

Oh, well, some minds are just not in step with the times. Or is it, rather, that times don't change as fast as we may think?
