I think the correct answer is d) but my teacher says that is c) Am I wrong?
The same thing happens with the next sentences:

How do you know that your neighbours are at home?
Because ____ car is over there.
a) my
b) they
c) their
d) its

I think is c) but correct answer according my teacher is d)

This table has a missing leg.
Here is ____ leg.
a) its
b) it
c) their
d) my

According to me correct answer is a), but they say it´s b)

PLEASE HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND WHY I'M WRONG, I'LL BE VERY HAPPY WHEN I KNEW THE REASONS!!

Hi again Paulina,

Only "men" is correct,as we know some nouns form the plural by changing the root-vowel and "man" is one of them

The sentences make no sense at all.
I can't think of a teacher, who teaches such kind of sentences to her students.

"Man's" is the possessive for "man," short for "mankind."

But the plural for "man" is always "men."

I think the teacher is an illiterate one. Don't take care bout MANS & MAN though both of them might be possible but bout PERSON, PERSONS, PEOPLE & PEOPLES.
