Hey everybody,
I want read on you an article in my work book and I want from you read it again and correct my mistakes in my reading .
O.k. let's start:

Invisible power
For several years countries around the world have been looking for new energy sources to replace fossil fuels when they eventually run out. The country which makes the most use of solar power is Japan, and Denmark uses more wind power than any other country.
Now Britain, with its long coastline ,is trying to lead the world in wave power technology.
Experts say that in the future ,the sea ,with its wave and tide energy ,could provide enough power for the whole planet.Twenty wave farms could supply electricity to a city the size of Edinburgh ,with its population of 450,000.
Scientists are working on the 'Wave Hub" .This is a testing device which will be located in the sea 15km from the south-west coast of Britain and will cover 20 square kilometers. It will produce 30-40 megawatts of electricity every year.
One of the greatest advantages of wave farms is that they will be invisible, unlike wind farms, which are very unpopular with some people who say they "spoil the countryside".However ,there are some disadvantages to wave machines:the machines are just below that the surface of the sea and so could be a danger to chips .In addition to this, some people think wave farms may put the tourists off and could be a danger to fish .
whatever the disadvantages , it is certain that the world will need alternative energy sources for the time when gas .oil and coal run out.

Hi BG,

Did you write this yourself? It's quite different from what you have written in other posts!

Hello Alan,

I have understood BG's message that she did not write it. In her message, she meant the piece of writing was in the workbook and she read it to practice her spoken English.

Did I interpret your message right, BG?

Hi BG,

Please accept my apologies. I am sorry but I misread your question and I thought you wanted me to correct your spelling and not your reading.

Best wishes,

Alan

Dear Alan, it should be:

Good attempt nevertheless.
