OMG. I've took mad practice SAT critical reading tests over the years and I STILL CANNOT GET OUT OF THE 300's range... I KEEP GETTING 350-390. God, I'm so frustrated that I might not get into some of my colleges that I wanna apply to and missing like about 100-200 points. My math and critical reading score are about 750 and 650 respectively and I don't think I can improve much about it anymore. The thing that pisses me off is the my god dam fail reading score. Not to mention I applied to a dozen preps like Princeton, Revolution, Ivy, etc... I SERIOUSLY like TRY and Do all the HW for critical reading. I pay attention so much, and yet I try to learn vocabulary so hard too. They keep saying vocabulary isn't that essential, yet I don't care. I DO try to use their strategies, but I still get the questions wrong like 75% of the time. YES i am ASIAN, maybe the problem is with race, but I doubt it, at least i hope... Maybe I just naturally fail at critical reading... The highest score I've EVER gotten out of the hundreds of practice exams was 460, AND I KNOW that one was just pure LUCK. God I dun know what i'm gonna do. It makes me sick to be in the 10-20% percentile who scores that low in critical reading...
Well yea... I need some advice... should I just give up and stick with my score... =[ eh Thanks! |

| Its alright man, I mean I'm asian too and I did pretty bad on my CR section from the SAT this year (610) i got 770 in math and 650 in writing like you, just keep reading and up your vocabulary |

| I heard that practicethesat.com will shortly add cr to their already existing bi-weekly practice test. its gonna be awesome, i mean it already is, but its gonna be a lot better... |

| I bought Barron's SAT book and when I tried to do the critical reading section, i could not do that! it's so hard.the words are "miraculous" for me. |
