Hi Claudia,
Your mention of the use of 'or' as an attempt by German speakers when speaking English to use some kind of question tag, reminds me of the fashion among certain types of young native English speakers to use a universal question tag by saying 'innit' at the end of a sentence. In the article I have attached you can see that 'innit' has now made it to the Oxford dictionary. At the end of this attachment you will see and hear a comedy sketch where this word is used again and again.
