I joined to the forum of European students in Baku that is so-called “Aegee-Baki”. I became a coordinator of the education-working group there, because I was sure that I could exhibit my best in education field. So not longer after that I became a leader of the conference devoted to the education abroad. There were invited many ambassadors and representatives of local and foreign education officials such as representatives of the embassy of the US and Japan as well as the envoys of the programs such as Flex and Irex. In the long run, all the difficulties of the conference fell to my shoulders as a leader. I know English fluently and this ability enabled me to lead the conference and to contact with the English speaking representatives directly rather than by the help of translators. Additionally, I got to know new acquaintances who studied in Europe and in the US. Furthermore, meeting with the minister for education at the conference was an indispensable experience for me in order to be less excited during the meeting with ministers. As a result, I gained experience as a leader which would enable me to lead more prestigious projects in the near future. I became more self-reliant and organized more valuable projects afterwards. The most important of all, I got a job offer during this conference that was a unforeseen surprise for me.

I enjoy dancing, so that is I joined to dancing group seven years ago. After being accepted to university I spent more time to engage with dance. In fact, now I have learnt several national dances of different nations that are one of the main aspects of any culture. So, I bask in dancing and it enables me to show off myself at any parties or weddings and at other solemn events. Now, I am able to exhibit both national and modern dances. It has contributed me to keep fit or to stay in a good shape as well. What is more, learning how to dance was a great opportunity for me to visit to overseas. As a matter of fact, I have been to Turkey, Canada and to other foreign countries due to dance contests. It allows me to be aware of different cultures in reality. My parents also feel pride with me, because I represent not only my country but also my family abroad.

I am an active young and always try to do something new. In fact, I have been rewarded several times. I won a contest devoted to the history at our university in 2008. I was given a certificate and I appreciate that. But the most significant award for me occurred last year. I worked hard on a project that was so-called “Gender-Equality”. It was a project of our student organization but other students were not willing to take responsibility of this project because of its difficulties. So, I took all the responsibility and strived to do my utmost. I worked the hardest than ever before and carried out lots of research that was the main conduce of emerging a successful project. It was very crucial for me, because I could be awarded with a high amount of money due to my project. Sometimes, I asked for help to my friends but mainly I was fully answerable for the whole project. In the long run, I took part in Istanbul in 2009. After painstaking selection process I was awarded with a grant in the amount of $2500 US among 30 participants from different countries. It was unmatched, unprecedented success in my life. The language of the project was English and I won that. It turned light on my way to the best direction for the future. This was the greatest project of my life until today.

Although I am a student in the humanitarian field but I am interested in business when I have sufficient time for it. I am in the fourth year of my studies now and have more free time. So that is when I was offered to sell make-up facilities I concurred with that. In fact, it was a part of a huge business. My part was only to sell make-up facilities such as lipstick, rouge and powder, pens and etc. to the girl students or acquaintances around me. It was also an excellent opportunity for me to provide myself to high qualified make-up facilities for usage. It was not a selling process like in the markets or at the department stores, I just offered to my groupmates who need make-up facilities and if they needed I provided them. In this selling process I realized that this business can bring in more money than it spends. I had income due to the interest of the products. My responsibility was to buy products and to sell them to higher costs. The more I sell the richer I could be. It contributed me to be more organized and to save money. I collected certain amount of money and added my scholarship which is allocated by government to the students with the higher grades and bought necessary equipment to our house. As a result, I learned how to cope with the problems and to solve them due to my own attempts. I learnt how to deal with business in different areas. I believe that this was a preferable experience for me.
