Hi, everybody!
I have a question to ask you.
What is the differences between "The old lady who was injured in the accident is now in hospital" and "The old lady who is now in hospital was injured in the accident". I think the second one is absolutely wrong. Am I right? Many thanks for enlightening me.

I'm a vietnamese too. You're right. The sentence will be divided into 2 sentences: the lady was injured in an accident. She is in hospital now. When combining them, note that what is the main idea the speaker wanna mention. That is THE LADY IS IN HOSPITAL as her being injured in the accident is just the reason why she's in hospital. And a clause of reason is one of the subordinate clauses which must always construct other subordinate clause like relative one you mentioned.

I think both sentences can be appropriate, depending on the questions asked.
