Difference in meaning between sentence #2 (permalink) Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:33 am   Difference in meaning between sentence

Hi,

This sentence: Where are you staying ? refers to where you are staying now/this week/today/tonight
This sentence: Where do you stay? need more information such as 'when you come to our town'' and refers to something you often do.

This sentence: 'I am staying at Bangalore' means: Where you are at the moment/now/this week and 'I have been staying' means where you have stayed up till now.

I would say ' in Bangalore'.
