What movies do you prefer?

Movies become more and more popular today. Some people see movies just for fun, others for relaxations or even gain new knowledge. I cannot say that I do not like comedies but I enjoy watching serious films more, because of the following reasons.

First, we can learn a lot of useful things about our live from movies. There a lot of war or historical movies, which can tell us about a certain period in the past. For example, very often we do not have time to read historical books, while watching a historical film provides us with a real information.

Second, serious films make us see different things from different sides, they broaden our horizon. Sometimes we see a problem only from one side, while a good film shows us another sides and exits from this or that situation. Watching serious films we become much more experienced. Because very often we see heroes from the film in a similar situation that we are.

Finally, serious films give us opportunity to think about our life and life of others. May be we think that we are in a poor situation and nobody cannot help and even understand us. By watching such films we see how often people suffer, how optimistic they are and how they overcome various difficulties and troubles.
From the other hand, I do not want to deny the fact that comedies also useful especially when you need to relaxation and entertainment. It is so enjoyable to relax with a company of friends, do not worry about anything.

All in all, different movies are useful and have their right to exist. Many things depend on the situation but in general I prefer serious movies to comedies one.

Movies ARE becomING more and more popular today. Some people GO TO see movies just for fun, others SIMPLY for relaxation or TO even gain new knowledge. I cannot say that I do not like comedies, but I enjoy watching serious films more, because of the following reasons.

First, we can learn a lot of useful things about our live'S from movies. There ARE a lot of war or historical movies, which can tell us about a certain period in the past. For example, very often we do not have time to read historical books, THEREFORE watching aN historical film provides us with real FACTUAL information.

Second, serious films make us see different things from different sides, they broaden our horizon. Sometimes we see a problem only from one side, while a good film shows us another side and WAYS TO exit from this or that situation.
BY watching serious films we become much BETTER INFORMED(,) because very often we see heroes from the film in a similar situation TO OURSELVES.

Finally, serious films give us THE opportunity to think about our life and THE LIVES of others. Maybe (ONE WORD)we think that we are in a poor situation and nobody can help OR even understand us. By watching such films we see how often people suffer, how optimistic they are, and how they overcome various difficulties and troubles.
ON the other hand, I do not want to deny the fact that comedies ARE also useful, especially when you need to relax and BE entertainED. It is so enjoyable to relax IN THE company of friends, AND not TO worry about anything.

All in all, different movies are useful and have their right to exist. Many things depend on the situation, but in general I prefer serious movies to comICAL oneS.
