People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, or increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
Attending college or university seems to be more important than before .Most of people in developed or developing countries continue studying higher and higher. They do not stop only getting high school degree anymore. There are many reasons why people decide to be college or university students.
The first reason is that university or college is the good resource of knowledge which you can choose what you want to know. After you graduated from high school and you still need to learn more, university or college is your next step. From my experience, I decide to attend the university because I want to learn more about business subjects. That is why I choose to study in the faculty of commerce and accountancy.
Secondly, university or college lets you have a chance to meet new friends. At this moment, you will meet a lot of people who come from different background and places. For example, in my university's life I have many new friends. Some of them come from the Southern, Northern or Eastern part of Thailand (my hometown). If I did not attend university, it will be hard for me to meet various people like this.
Last but not least, graduating from university or college will help you to find the better job. Most of companies in my country pay attention to the level of education. The higher degree you hold, the better job you get. If there are 2 candidates, one graduated from high school while the other holds bachelor degree. It is obvious that the second candidate will get this job.
In conclusion, the reason why people attend university or college is a personal reason but for me, it gives me increased knowledge, new friends and job opportunity.
