A fiscal year is a period used for calculating annual financial statements in businesses and other organizations.

Hi Maggie,

This was a brave attempt as I realise that you found the sounds difficult to pronounce. I don't want to discourage you by saying that but recommend that you keep trying and put your messages on the forum. I have written a few pieces for reading and you could try one of them. Look forward to hearing from you again.

Hi, Alan

Thanks for considering my post again.

I've got some questions. Did you advise me to practice the pronunciations like this article, Read this text aloud: (The New Teacher) you post? One more question is that how come you don't suggest me practice a sentence like this post(fiscal year)? Could you give me some reasons? Actually, in my opinion, I think I should get used to create one sentence myself and make it reasonably. What a artilce you give us to practice for pronunciation is one thing, but what we create one sentence ourselves is another thing although I think pronoucing an article that you post is still a great idea for me at least. What do you think of this?

Speak to you soon.

Maggie^^

Hi Maggie,

I just suggested the piece you have mentioned as an example. Certainly write your own material and record that as well. Anything you read aloud written by you or me or anybody else is an opportunity to practise. Keep trying and good luck.
