"gamer zero votes"? #1 (permalink) Wed Mar 03, 2010 14:07 pm   "gamer zero votes"?

Hello

Is "gamer" in the following sentence a verb? Could you please tell me what the sentence mean? (I've checked up in many dictionaries but found no sensible definition for "gamer" in this case):

Any proposal that manages to gamer zero votes in a two-way election has got to be viewed as seriously flawed.

Thank you very much.

You are misreading it: the word is 'garner', which is a verb.
