Only have a few days left for gre prep and only just started the vocabulary part which I feel is my main concern.

can anyone suggest a strategy or anything to learn in the most effective way the vocabulary or at least as much of it as possible in such a small amount of time

Yes. I have tried GRE tough words. very good in raising my practice scores. Initially I was annoyed by the tough words only but now realized that only those words matter anyway. Using Barron's book for practice tests - this app worked for me.
