Classroom is a platform which paves way for students to get unlimited knowledge. #1 (permalink) Sat Mar 06, 2010 6:35 am   Classroom is a platform which paves way for students to get unlimited knowledge.

I strongly believe that learning is a journey which has no destination. With varied experience and challenges one gets a chance to horn the skills. However, one needs to understand that unless and until the foundation is strong, the building will not stand erect for many years.

Classroom is a platform which paves way for students to get unlimited knowledge. This is an environment which aids them to learn the concepts right. It does not just stop them at mere understanding of the concepts, however the pool of students milieu gives them more room to analyse why does the concept hold true. Also with a guide who has been teaching the concepts for many years, would aid them to get the crux of the concept easily.

But learning the basics alone will not equip the student. And the idea of learning concepts is not just for acquiring knowledge. All these concepts need to be applied in the real time environment. This is where the limitations and the challenges that are associated with each concept that the students have learnt comes in to picture. For example, acquiring knowledge is as good as knowing different parts of the car such as accelerator, break, clutch, steering, horn etc. Bookish knowledge may teach you the use of half clutch, however only when a person drives will he be exposed to the importance of half clutch, how to use it and when all half clutch is useful.

Thus in conclusion I would say that bookish knowledge and real time exposure go hand in hand. And they will not be effective without if they function in solos. Hence it is predominant for a person to understand the importance of the two. Thus a person who understands the criticality of these does achieve great heights i

I strongly believe that learning is a journey which has no destination. With varied experience and challenges one gets a chance to HONE ONE'S skills. However, one needs to understand that unless and until the foundation is strong, the building will not stand erect for VERY many years.

THE classroom is a platform which paves THE way for students to /get/OBTAIN/RECEIVE/ unlimited knowledge. This is an environment which aids them to learn the concepts IN A /right/PROPER MANNER.

It does not just stop at THE mere understanding of the concepts.
The pool of students milieu gives them more /room/OPPORTUNITY/ to analyse why the concept ACTUALLY holdS true, HELPED BY A guide who has been teaching the concepts for many years, AND would aid them to get TO the crux of the concept easily.

But learning the basics alone will not equip the student. And the idea of learning concepts is not just for acquiring knowledge. All these concepts need to be applied in A real-time environment. This is where the limitations and the challenges that are associated with each concept, that the students have learnt, comes (into) THE picture.

For example, acquiring PRACTICAL knowledge is EQUAL TO /knowing/RECOGNISING THE/ different parts of A car such as THE accelerator, BRAKE, clutch, steering, horn etc. Bookish knowledge may VERY WELL teach you the use of half-clutch, however only when a person drives will he be exposed to the importance of half-clutch, how to use it, and when half-clutch is useful.

Thus in conclusion I would say that bookish knowledge and real-time exposure go hand in hand. They will not be effective when they function /in solos/AS SOLITARY MEANS OF LEARNING. Hence it is /predominant/ESSENTIAL/PREFERABLE/ for a person to understand the importance of the two WORKING IN TANDEM. Thus a person who understands the criticality of THIS WILL achieve great heights.

Hi Kitos,
I have a question regarding to one the sentences in this essay.
Could you please tell me which one is grammatically correct? And if more than one is correct, then which is better?

1- I strongly believe that learning is a journey which has no destination.
2- I strongly believe that learning is a journey in which has no destination.
3- I strongly believe that learning is a journey in which we can not denote any destination.

I would choose to use the first one.

Destination meaning the end. I actually thought this was a good phrase.
