My name's Guillem and I live in Catalonia. I have a little doubt:
Sometimes I can read in English books to learn anything ( sciences, languages,..) explanations by lessons, and immediatly an exemple.

So, sometimes "exemple" word is write like: ex.
But sometimes like: e.g.

Could you explain me waht does (e.g.) means exactly? Many thanks in advance Jessica.
