Do you agree or disagree? Parents are best teachers.

Parents are those people who are very much attach with their children. They are too emotional. They teach them a best thing whatever they have. Parents are important teachers in their children’s lives; however, they are not always best parents.

Parents are too much emotionally attached with their children. They are too much concern about safety of children. And because of this concern, it may be happen that children will lose their freedom. Like many times it happen that parents not give permission to go their children for field trip. Parents are think that may be their children get injured from that kind of trip. But they never think that children learn many things from those adventures.

Second reason is parents always try that their children follow them. What they decide for them is only true? Sometime, parents think that through children they can fulfill their dreams. If they are interested in particular thing, they want that their children always do that. Like if parents are interested in science field and like that their son/daughter will choose career in medical field only. They put presser on children to complete their wish. But what happen if children like to choose career in art such as painter. My one of the friend’s father is engineer and he want that his son choose his career in only in engineer. But my friend would like to become a history teacher. His father put too much stress on him, he could not bear it and at the end he decides to leave home forever.

Sometime, parents make comparisons between two friends and sometimes also they make comparisons between them and children. Parents think that by making comparisons they are encouraging their children. Is that good idea to motivate/ encourage children? No. They pass their values to the children and want that children obey that. The children of today’s world have different values and different aspects. Many older parents cannot accept new sociology or traditional changes. Children who have friend from different race may be filling that their parents has narrow views.


In conclusion, parents have many good things like they protect child from any dangerous things, they guide children, and they teach children to face things. Parents are good teacher. Children can learn lots of thing from television, books, newspaper and computer. But they never consider those things as best teacher.
