It has been said,” Not everything that is learned is contained in books’’. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. In your opinion, which source is more important? Why?
Books are those things from which we can get theoretical knowledge. Books contain history, science, mathematics, arts and many more subjects. This can help us to increase our knowledge but by experience we can gain lots of practical knowledge which books do not contain. I totally agree with the author that not everything that is learned is contained in the books. Throughout our different stages of life like from school to university and also in our older age, experiences teach us too many skills we need for our life.
“Experience is best teacher”- is famous old cliche, but I agree with it. Children can learn fact and information from the books. Children can learn how to make friends on ground or school by experience. Even small child can learn from their experience or mistake. Like child are running near table and if mother told to them if they play near table, may they get injury. But child not listen to her, but when he got injured from table, than he never play near table. They develop a new skill from that kind of experience.
At university, from book we can learn knowledge about that particular subject. Books also help to shape our future and career. But beside books, we learn lots of thing by own experience. We develop decision making skills, we learn to take responsibility and we also accept new challenges. This all things are not provide by books. Experiences teach to become a strong and also teach us how to face a problem. At university we meet different type’s people and learn how to interact with them. We learn lots of thing from our success as well as failure and they help us to develop a skill which we need for our futures.
In our adulthood and also in older age, experience can work more than books. It remains constant teacher. We may continue to take classes for our professional development. However our experience at work, at classes, at home teaches us more than books.
In sum up, books’ teach us lot but there is limit for them. Books’ can give us information on based on data or someone’s experience. These are valuable things but the most important lessons we learn from our experience.
Please give score out of 15. Thanks kitos
