Hi,

There are 4 syllables 'in environment'. The present is used to indicate a fact as in: Water turns to ice but 'will turn' is possible.

I have amended your text:

We say "water (turns) to ice if we put it in a freezer".
Is this sentence true in general if we say "water turns"?
or isn't it true in general if we say "water will turn" ?

Alan
