I disagree with the fact that, businesses should hire employess for their entire life. There many reasons for this.
Firstly, I think businesses evolve in the matter of time. Business policies and strategies change. These changes are mandatory for the company's progress. In my opinion it becomes difficult for employees to accustom to these changes. They develop a sense of steady work profile and may not be always in favour of changes. They would prefer to remain in same work environment as before. So in a way, changes in company policies may not be accepted by the employees. Such employees always long for same old working styles. Hence, this may hamper the progress of company. As the business may require fast, energertic and enthusiastic work force such employees fail to function properly. They cannot cope up with increasing market changes and work mannerisms.
Secondly, new technological advancements are made every single day. New softwares are emerging in each work arena. Keeping the same conventional staff for many years and expecting them to follow the non-conventional method of working can be mettlesome. They may be completely ignorant of outside world and its development in their field. There knowledge is restricted and insufficient. Also, I think more money and time will be spent in training of existing staff. Instead fresh and trained candidates should be employed who will be more efficient in their work as they possess the latest knowledge of subjects. Fresh candidates have a zeal and enthusiasm in them.
Thirdly, keeping the same employees has an disadvantage that, they may take their jobs for granted. As they are going to have their job permanently they will not think about proving themselves. They might give less attention and devotion to their duties. In other words, there is chance of having a feeling of loss of ambition and motivation in them. On the other hand, any newly hired employee will work with more dedication and devotion. He will surely work hard and try to make his mark.
All in all, a company should always keep on refreshing and revising its staff for its own profit.

I disagree to the topic that Business should hire the employees for the lifetime. We all know that in this competitive world, the business strategy and requirement changes almost very frequently. Along with that the policies ofthe company also changes. Sometimes the new policies that are brought by the higher management may be feasible and employment friendly. For example, earlier before the poilicy changes were nmade atleast if the company was free even to give a week end of f for all the employess then on every Monday of the next week, the employees with new zeal comes to office and work and this way the productivity increases. On the other hand, if there break /time off for the employees then the job becomes monotounous and employees may lose interest in it. Secondly, if the policiies become very stringent and are not employees friendly at least to soem extent. employees may feel bound to the work areas and this will alos affect their personal lives. And finally, nowadays, we see the new tools and techologies being introduced into the market almost very frequently and to achieve edge over their competitiors, business company try to implemnet them. Suppose the current people who already working with compnay if are not exposed/are aware of such new tools then the business cannot achieve its goals . Hence this may incur lose to the company. O)n the otherhand, if comapny plans to hire new employees having the knowledge of new techical areas then it becomes easier for the company to utilize their skills. Hence I think, every business company should re-visit their employess skill set and accordingly train or hire employees to be successful in this competitive world.

In my opinion it becomes difficult for EXISTING employees to /GROW/BECOME/ /accustomED to/ these changes. They HAVE developED a sense of steady work profile and may not ALWAYS BE in favour of changes. They would prefer to remain in THE same workING environment as /before/PREVIOUSLY/. So in a way, changes in company policies may not READILY be accepted by the employees.
Such employees always long for THE same old working styles. Hence, this may hamper the progress of THE company. As the business may require A fast, energetic and enthusiastic work force such employees fail to function properly IN THE NEW ENVIRONMENT. They /cannot/ARE UNABLE TO/ ARE UNWILLING TO/cope up with increasing market changes and work mannerisms.
