This is the message that I am going to read. Please give feedback.

Hello everyone,

I have studied English for, well, nearly all my life up until now. However, I still have some doubts about my pronounciation since I seldom talk to a native speaker of English. So, if your mother tongue is English, please help me rate my speaking skills.

Please correct me should I make mistakes or when my accent is too heavy. Constructive criticisms are always appreciated. And please determine a score between 1 to 8, whereas 1 means "You are probably more talented in math, Ari" and 8 means "No you do not need this. You are just trying to brag, Ari".

If there is an 8, then I should like to start spending time helping people with their spoken English rather then doubting my own pronounciation. However, I pretty much doubt any of you will give 8, Lol.

Cheers,

ARI

Ari, you have nearly no foreign accent. You get an 8. Of course, if I scared you awake in the middle of the night, you might reveal yourself to have more of an Indonesian accent, but when you're trying, as you were when you made the recording, your pronunciation is excellent.

Hi Ari,

Thank you for your recording. I would have to say that in all honesty you are bragging but then I also have to say that you have every reason to do so. Your fluency and clarity are of a very high order. I am not going to give you an 8 but I'll push the boat out and give you a congratulatory 10 out of 10. Let's hear more from you and about you in the near future.

Alan

Thank you Kitos dad, Jamie (K) and Alan for your kind replies. I am certainly glad that you all find I was just trying to brag with this one. Particularly Alan, who would go so far as to "push the boat out" and gave me the mark of "the most pompous EFL speaker in the world". I am certainly happy to help out over here, as I am eager to polish my English skills as well.

It has been an honour to be labeled a "bragger" by each and everyone of you. Although I am still hoping to get feedbacks from Torsten and associates about my bragging,...I mean speaking skills.

Hi Youscream Icecream,

I really admire your accent and pronunciation. Can you tell me how you have improved yourself? How do you train yourself?

Thank you for your reply.

I think your methods are really effective, but they require patience and a long time.
I will give it a try, and I hope I can speak like you.
