Hello everyone,

I like watching movies. They help me so much when it comes to spoken English. I believe that many of you also love watching movies, be it for the English or just for the fun of it.

I was wondering about your favourite quote in a movie. If you have one (or possibly more), feel free to post it here. Don't forget to post the recording of you saying your favourite quote.

Here's one from me:

"My momma always says that life is like a box of chocolate; you never know what you get until you try 'em" - Forrest Gump, Forrest Gump.

Have a good one!

"When the man with the rifle meets a man with a handgun, then the man with the handgun is a dead man."

Can you guess from which film?
Can you name the character who said it?
Can you name the character he said it to?

Kitos.

Mornin Campers - Hi-de-hei Morning Bill

Im guessing Clint Eastwood

First Favorite which comes to mind is

Marsellus in Pulp Fiction: "Naw man. I'm pretty xyz' far from okay".

You would have to have seen it to know why

Dear Bill, why on earth do you think I'm a lady? Judging from my avatar? That may be misleading. :) I'm a man, though not a tough guy like Clint.

Oopps! Sorry Infinity. It was always my thought that you were female.

Please accept my sincere apology.

Bill.

You really no need to apologize, Bill. I don't mind. :)

BTW, what do you think about "Pale Rider"?

It was good, but a rather strange theme which still didn't really become clear even after the film finished.
By far his best western was TGTBATU, no doubt in my mind. Three great action actors, and an excellent plot.

Moving from westerns to other types of film saw him moving from a man of few words to a man of many capabilities.
As he matured he became better and better.
Unfortunately for him, time marches on, and he now directs more than playing as a character in films.

My current hero is Matt Damon. Can't wait for the next Bourne episode.

Mornin Campers - Hi-de-hei Morning Bill

Seen Matt Damon last night in the "Green Room"

was pretty good.(Green Zone in bagdad)

Yeah the Good the bad and the ugly was a great movie Bill

My brother Charlie died a few years ago and it was his favorite

it was like he would watch it once a month.

Great sound track. I once heard those spaghetti westerns described as wild west opera's and with the music and the close - ups and general camera work you can sort of see why.

Timeless

I am happy that you folks are enjoying yourselves. Unfortunately for me, I never did have the pleasure to watch classics like "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly".
And here's another one from me :

"The only criminal I see here is you, because you tried to rob the creativity out of these people!"

Now, the million dollar question is...(drum)...what is the title of the movie?
